We're all concerned with Y2K,but how many are prepared for 2cJC? What's that,you ask? The second coming of Jesus Christ! He said He'd be back, and it's getting closer all the time. We don't know exactly when, but you can bet it's soon. Jesus died 2000 years ago for you and I,and all we have to do is ask his forgiveness,and ask him to come into our hearts as Lord and Saviour. He loves you no matter WHAT you have done or said. He is knocking at the door to your heart, all you have to do is open the door and let him in. You can't work your way, or buy your way into heaven, it is a free gift." For by grace are you saved, through FAITH, not of works, lest any man should boast." When Jesus was hanging on the cross, dying, 2 thieves hung on either side of him. One mocked him,and said " if you are indeed the son of God, then save us, and yourself. The other rebuked him, and said " this man is surely the son of God,turned to Jesus and asked him if he could be accepted into his kingdom when they had all di ed. This man was not a churchgoer, and was obviously not getting into heaven based on his track record, yet because of his declaration of faith and his simple request, Jesus answered him thusly " This day, you will be with me in paradise " This should be a lesson to all of us about how simple it really is to be saved. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
